Alfred Gordon
Chief Executive Officer

Al Gordon is the President and Chief Executive Officer of National Strategies Inc. (NSI). Prior to establishing NSI in 1995, Mr. Gordon had extensive experience in government and politics in New York State. Mr. Gordon worked as a senior member of former Governor Mario Cuomo’s staff, overseeing such areas as legislative relations, intergovernmental relations, constituency affairs, and regional services. During this period, Al also worked on several large procurement projects and had extensive dealings with the business community and its interaction with New York State Government.

In addition to his government experience, Mr. Gordon has a long history in New York State Democratic politics. He was the coordinator for Mario Cuomo’s campaign for Mayor of New York City in 1977, Director of Operations in Queens County during Governor Cuomo’s initial successful run for Governor in 1982, statewide Field Director for Governor Cuomo’s reelection campaign in 1986, and Campaign Director of the New York State campaign for Presidential candidate Michael Dukakis in 1988. In addition, Al served for over two years as Chairman of the New York State Democratic Committee between 1993 and 1995. Mr. Gordon has also taught classes on government at several major universities. He earned a BA degree in Political Science and History from Clark University and a JD from Fordham School of Law.

Timothy Onoff
President

Timothy Onoff is President of NSI. Mr. Onoff has extensive experience developing strategic government marketing campaigns and assisting companies in the leadership and execution of winning government sales programs across a range of verticals. He is involved in all facets of NSI service operations including strategy development, and creation and management of winning public affairs and procurement campaigns for companies ranging from early stage growth firms to Fortune 100 companies.

Mr. Onoff’s background and knowledge of government markets and trends are grounded in his experience and service at the state and local levels of government. As an aide to former New York Governor Mario Cuomo (D-NY), Mr. Onoff served as a public affairs and policy liaison for the Cuomo Administration and New York Secretary of State. In addition, as an official in local government, Mr. Onoff led efforts around the development of community-based projects as well as coordinating regular media outreach and crisis communications. Mr. Onoff is experienced in detailed policy issues as well as strategic matters. He has been an advisor to gubernatorial, state legislative and local government campaigns, including serving as the Deputy Upstate New York Coordinator for the 1992 Clinton Gore Presidential Campaign.

Prior to NSI, Mr. Onoff founded and led a consulting firm that specialized in assisting corporations with state and local marketing initiatives involving comprehensive legislative, intergovernmental, grassroots communications and issue-advocacy campaigns. Mr. Onoff holds a BA. in Political Science from St. John Fisher College.

Donna Gent
Chief Operating Officer

Donna Gent is Chief Operating Officer at National Strategies, Inc. She has a broad array of corporate leadership with large and small companies that provide technology and services to the technology, education, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. Most recently, Ms. Gent was Senior Vice President at NSI, where she led the company’s business development efforts and oversaw the development of NSI’s Education Practice. Prior to joining NSI, Ms. Gent was President and Chief Executive Officer at Vale Solutions, a technology company that developed and sold the Kinderstreet and Precipio Internet-delivered management and communication software applications. Under her leadership the company grew from a concept to a nationwide firm serving the education, recreation and sports industries with clients in 41 states before it was acquired by a private equity firm in 2005.

Prior to founding Vale Solutions, Ms. Gent was Vice President of Centromine, Inc., an Internet software applications firm in the healthcare market, where she led the strategy, marketing, business development and product management teams. Ms. Gent has founded two companies and also has extensive domestic and international experience through a variety of leadership and business development positions at Electronic Data Systems and Oracle Corporation. Ms. Gent is also an active volunteer with a variety of non-profit organizations working with children and low-income families. She is on the Board of the LaBelle Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at Central Michigan University and an alumni member of Springboard Enterprises, a national not-for-profit dedicated to accelerating women’s access to the equity markets. She has an M.B.A. degree from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a B.S.B.A degree from Central Michigan University; and she is a published author and frequent speaker on business, public sector and technology matters.

Jeffrey A. Sim
Chief Financial Officer

Jeffrey A. Sim is Chief Financial Officer, NSI. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 18 years of experience in financial analysis, operations analysis, mergers & acquisitions, accounting & administration, strategic planning and investor relations. Most recently, Mr. Sim was Chief Financial Officer of GeoLogic Solutions, Inc. a private equity-owned provider of wireless data products, software and communications services to the transportation industry. In this position he was responsible for the functional areas of accounting/finance, inventory management, business systems and human resources. He also led due diligence and integration efforts for the company's buy- and sell-side merger & acquisition activities, including the successful sale of GeoLogic to a publicly-traded company in early 2008.

Prior to joining GeoLogic, Mr. Sim was Senior Director of Investor Relations and Financial Analysis with TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS), directing both the investor relations activities of the publicly traded telecommunications company and providing financial management decision support to the Enterprise division of TCS. Prior to joining TCS, Mr. Sim held the title of Director of Finance with Aether Systems, Inc. where he directed the financial management of the Transportation & Logistics division, performed treasury management functions, and merger & acquisition due diligence activities. Additionally, Mr. Sim interfaced with analysts covering Aether stock by regularly providing guidance and financial model clarification following financial news releases.

Prior to his experience with Aether, Mr. Sim provided assurance (audit & other), consulting and tax preparation with the accounting firms of KPMG, LLP and Mann Frankfort Stein & Lipp.

Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Finance and Management from Texas State University.

Roy Cales
Managing Director, Technology Sector

Mr. Cales' technology expertise stems from years of leadership and involvement in the field of IT systems and services. In addition to his extensive private sector experience as the CEO of a consulting firm, Mr. Cales has served in multiple capacities fostering the growth of Information Technology in Florida. In 1999 he was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to be the State of Florida's first State CIO, where he was responsible for all technology in all of the state's executive agencies. Additionally, he was charged with creating the State Technology Office, a statewide regulatory agency aimed at bringing a consistent, global approach to the state's technology initiatives. The role also allowed Mr. Cales the opportunity to work and develop relationships within the Florida Legislature while writing and implementing the required legislation for his post. Mr. Cales also led the efforts to re-write the State Procurement laws for Florida.

Mr. Cales' reputation as a national leader in Government privatization and IT development has continued to grow through his work with groups like ITFlorida, where he was a member of the Board of Directors and helped move Florida into the forefront of national IT development. In 2005 Mr. Cales was awarded the Businessman of the Year award by the National Republican Congressional Committee and is actively involved with several organizations such as the Congressional Business Advisory Council and the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists. His extensive personal network within both the government and business communities combined with his unique experiences in private, non-profit, and public sectors allow him to provide unparalleled service to our clients.

Pete Butler
Vice President, Technology Sector

Peter Butler brings over 20 years of experience in government and has a keen understanding of public sector technology transformation. Having previously worked as a spokesperson for Florida Governor Bob Martinez in 1989, and as a Bureau Chief at the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, he changed his focus to Internet Communications. After launching the web strategies for Florida’s Leon County and the City of Tallahassee, Mr. Butler turned his attention to the State of Florida’s Internet launch, and was project director for the State of Florida’s award winning web team under Governor Lawton Chiles. Mr. Butler also authored a technology book for Macmillan Publishing, and was a contributor to the ‘Reinventing Government’ chapter in Bill Gates book entitled ‘Business at the Speed of Thought.’

In 1998, Mr. Butler left the Public Sector to launch Homes.com as the Vice President of Product Development. The site grew quickly, launching branded realtor and broker sites, and remains one of the leading portals today for online real estate. In 2001, Mr. Butler migrated to business development and sales, serving at Mainline Information Systems, CA, and Idea Integration.

Mr. Butler earned a B.S. in Journalism with a minor in Political Science at Florida A&M University and remains and active member of the community, currently serving on the local Multimodal Advisory Committee, which he chaired for three years. Mr. Butler also serves as a board member for the Florida Road Cycling Association.

Jeff Granquist
Account Manager, Technology Sector

Jeff Granquist joins NSI with 18 years of technology experience working in the public sector and interfacing with government agencies. During that time he has served as employee, contractor, and vendor which provides him a broad based background and the ability to understand strategic and tactical issues. This allows him the capacity to work with all levels of personnel from addressing agency heads, working with management and directors, and interfacing with field practitioners.

In addition to his strong understanding of technology infrastructure he brings an extensive background in procurement laws, negotiations, sales, IT consulting, telecommunication services and outsourcing. He played a key role in managing two large state government outsourcing projects that exposed him to both inter- and intra-corporate negotiations.

Granquist holds a B.S. in Social Sciences emphasizing Economics with a minor in Marketing from the Florida State University.

Terry Tamminen
Managing Director, Energy and Environment Sector

From his youth in Australia to career experiences in Europe, Africa and all parts of the United States, Terry has developed expertise in business, farming, education, non-profit, the environment, the arts, and government. He managed a multi-million dollar real estate company, owned/operated a successful recreational services business, and assisted the west African nation of Nigeria with the creation of their first solid waste recycling program. In 1993, Terry founded the Santa Monica BayKeeper and served as the Executive Director of the Environment Now Foundation in Santa Monica, CA, where he co-founded the Frank G. Wells Environmental Law Clinic at the School of Law, University of California Los Angeles. He was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2003 as the Secretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency and later as Cabinet Secretary, the Chief Policy Advisor to the Governor. He continues to advise the Governor on energy and environmental policy. In April, 2007, he was named the Cullman Senior Fellow and Director of the Climate Policy Program, of the New America Foundation. In September, 2007, he was appointed as an Operating Advisor to Pegasus Capital Advisors. In March, 2008 he joined NSI as Managing Director of the Energy and Environment Sector. He currently lectures and provides private consulting services to a variety of clients, including several Governors and Canadian Premiers on climate and energy policy. Terry’s latest book, Lives Per Gallon: The True Cost of Our Oil Addiction (Island Press), is a timely examination of our dependence on oil and a strategy to evolve to more sustainable energy sources.

Bonnie Reiss
Senior Advisor

Bonnie Reiss, one of the nation's leading authorities on environmental and public policy, is a Senior Advisor to NSI. Bonnie also serves as an Operating Advisor to Pegasus Capital Advisors, a private equity firm that is currently pursuing opportunities for sustainable business solutions across several industries and emerging markets, where she focuses on cleantech innovation. Bonnie has over 25 years experience in business and entertainment law, political activism, finance and event production and is recognized for achievements in utilizing the entertainment industry/media to advance significant social and political causes.

Most recently, Ms. Reiss served as Senior Advisor to California Governor Schwarzenegger (2003-2007), advising the Governor on all policy, budget and strategic issues. Ms. Reiss was the Governor’s point person on education, environment, and women’s issues, in addition to public safety and children's health.

Ms. Reiss also acted as the liaison to the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and served on the State Board of Education. She was President to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s newly formed Inner-City Games Foundation (renamed After-School All-Stars) and launched Arnold’s All-Stars, a pilot after-school program in four Los Angeles middle schools - which became a model program in California. Ms. Reiss currently serves on the Board of After-School All-Stars.

Ms. Reiss' career began in entertainment and public policy law during the 1980's when she co- founded the Hollywood Women’s Political Committee and served as Treasurer and Board member. Early on in her career, she was involved in environmental and political activism and founded and served as President to the Earth Communications Office (ECO), where he collaborated with actors, activists, and creative leaders to promote environmental causes. Ms. Reiss also produced the First Annual Women’s Health Conference in Los Angeles, CA.

Ms. Reiss has received numerous awards and honors, including the 2006 UC Student Association Advocate of the Year, 2006 Future Farmers of America Distinguished Service Award and 2006 National Veterans Affairs Service Award. Among her other awards are: 1995 U.S. Army Award for Working to Give America’s Youth Positive Alternatives to Drugs and Violence; 1992 Earth Action Woman of the Year; 1992 Home Show’s Woman of Distinction; 1989 Esquire Register and the 1990 Vanity Fair Hall of Fame.

Kevin Matthews
Vice President, Energy & Environment

Kevin L. Matthews is Vice President, Energy and Environment at NSI where he runs the day-to-day sector operations and works with clients on sustainable solutions for interfacing with state and local governments. Prior to joining NSI he served as Director of Government Relations for AIG Environmental, a leading environmental insurance and financial services firm that offers products specifically designed to handle environmental liability and clean-up issues.

In that capacity he was responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with all levels of the U.S. Government working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and several state and local governments. He developed solutions for Brownfield’s Redevelopment, Superfund, RCRA Cleanups and Financial Assurance and oversaw several state environmental insurance programs that encouraged Brownfield’s Redevelopment. During his tenure at AIG he was the lead liaison to the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy.

Prior to joining AIG Environmental Mr. Matthews held various positions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C. Working for Administrator Carol M. Browner he served as both Special Assistant and Senior Congressional Liaison. He also worked as an aide to U.S. Senators Dale Bumpers and Joseph Lieberman.

Mr. Matthews holds a B.A. in History from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas and an MPA from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Brownfield News and Sustainability Report and is a certified Environmental Risk Manager from Texas State University.

Steve Rauschenberger
Managing Director, Legislative Practice

Steve Rauschenberger is Managing Director of NSI’s Legislative Practice. Prior to joining the firm, Rauschenberger served for fifteen years in the Illinois State Senate, holding various leadership positions, including Assistant Republican Leader and Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Steve is immediate past president of the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL), where he also served as co-chair of the Taskforce on Telecommunications and Electronic Commerce. He represented the organization throughout the United States and internationally; concluding two cooperative agreements between NCSL and regional parliaments in Europe, and leading a senior delegation to India.

Steve served as faculty instructor to the Algerian Parliament for the U.S. State Department Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI). And assisted in a survey of the Niger and Senegal parliaments as part of a MEPI initiative.

Prior to his tenure in government, Rauschenberger was president of Ackemann Brothers, Inc., which owned and operated three retail furniture stores. Before taking that position he was a partner in the Rauschenberger Furniture Company, a third generation family furniture retail business.

A graduate of the College of William & Mary with a BBA, Steve serves on a number of professional and legislative boards.

Dennis LaComb
Vice President, Legislative Practice

Dennis LaComb has extensive experience in corporate relations, government affairs, marketing communications, and association management. He has successfully worked with a variety of public- and private-sector clients, including Ameritech, Sprint, FLAG Telecom, Epilepsy Foundation, Chicago Sister Cities, and Girls Scouts of America.

Prior to this work, LaComb was director of international affairs for Ameritech, a $23B dollar telecom company operating throughout the U.S. and worldwide. As a member of the company’s senior international management team, he was responsible for international marketing, communications and government affairs, and was instrumental in the successful $2.5B privatization bid for Belgacom.

Before joining Ameritech, LaComb was program officer and director of corporate development for the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations. In this capacity he was responsible for all corporate programming and development activities, working with over 100 multinational firms to establish, cultivate and maintain contacts with senior international business and government leaders.

LaComb holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Russian/East Central European Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point; and a master’s degree in International Economics and American Foreign Policy from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS).

Corey Miltimore
Vice President, Legislative Practice

Corey Miltimore comes to NSI with extensive experience in government affairs, business management, and strategy development. Miltimore has held a variety of senior private- and public-sector positions. Most recently he served as executive director of Strom Strategic Consulting, which provides labor relations counsel and contingency planning to numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Boeing, Caterpillar, Exelon, Georgia Pacific, Goodyear, Honeywell, and Levi Strauss among others.

Miltimore also served as vice president of The Walker Group, Inc., which provided fundraising services to various state parties and members of Congress. Prior to Walker, he co-founded CoreMark, Inc., a successful telecommunication quality assurance provider servicing nationwide firms.

His work in the non-profit world includes serving as director of media studies at Center of the American Experiment, and chairman of the Minnesota Academy for Conservative Leadership. He also served as executive director of the Republican Party of Minnesota, where, in addition to working with various elected officials, he was responsible for coordinating with all statewide campaigns and interfacing with the White House, and media.

Miltimore is a graduate of Northwestern College. He also served as a Policy Fellow with the University of Minnesota’s Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.

Paul M. Joyal
Managing Director, Public Safety Sector

Paul M. Joyal is Managing Director, Public Safety Sector at National Strategies, Inc. and directs the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Sector. He has extensive business development experience with law enforcement and national security entities nationwide. He served as a federal law enforcement officer and as director of security for the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence from 1980 to 1989. In addition to his focus on domestic law enforcement and national security entities, Mr. Joyal has extensive international experience as well. Mr. Joyal founded his own company in 1991 and established joint ventures in telecommunications and air transportation in Russia and Georgia respectively. As Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Report on Russia and the former Soviet Republics, he published a daily intelligence newsletter for ten years and offered a range of consultation services to a number of Fortune 100 firms pursuing opportunities in the former Soviet Union, Turkey and Iraq. In 1998, he represented the Georgian Government before the U.S. Congress and Departments as its first lobbyist. Mr. Joyal also served as expert advisor to the Security and Defense Committee of the Georgian Parliament and the Chairman of the National Security Council and Minister of Defense. He is the recipient of the Georgian government’s highest civilian award, “The order of Honor” for his service promoting Georgian independence and integration with the West. He previously held the position of Operations Director for Remington Elsag Law Enforcement Systems in its national rollout.

Mr. Joyal serves on the Prince Georges County Law Enforcement Task Force and Governor Martin O’Malley transition team for Public Safety. He was elected to the State of Maryland, InfraGard board of directors and holds the position of second Vice President whose responsibility includes the speakers program. He is also on the GOVSEC, government security conference and CyberWATCH Advisory Boards. CyberWATCH is a consortium of Washington, D.C. , Maryland and Virginia institutions led by Prince Georges Community College and funded by National Science Foundation (NSF) to increase the awareness of cyber security and information assurance in the education and business community. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Catholic University and is a frequent commentator on the affairs of the ex-Soviet Union, counter-terrorism and intelligence matters for the BBC, ABC, NBC, Dateline, Nightline, Cross Fire, Time, Newsweek magazines and other media outlets. Mr. Joyal’s professional associations include the International Chief’s of Police Association; the American Society for Industrial Security International; and the FBI’s InfraGard organization. He was a featured speaker in the GovSec convention in May of 2007, presenting "Net Centric Public Safety, How Technology and Intelligence methods are changing Law Enforcement Management and Operations for Homeland Security."

Tammy Fleur
Vice President, Client Services

Tammy Fleur is Vice President, Client Services at National Strategies, Inc., where she serves as a Team Lead for the organization’s clients. She brings entrepreneurial and hands-on leadership within early stage companies for planning and launching market strategies for first-time technology products. This is complimented by several years of business operations consulting and re-engineering experience working with Fortune 50 companies, including MetLife, General Motors, Sears, Mobile Oil, AT&T and others.

Prior to joining National Strategies, Inc., Ms. Fleur was a co-founder and headed up the sales and operations for Kinderstreet Corporation, a technology and consulting company serving the education market. Ms. Fleur developed the sales strategies for introducing the first-to-market web solution that is now recognized nationally as the leading technology used within school districts, child-care chains, and city-wide programs. She also served as the company’s President for the past two years and has built the strategies and plans for taking the company to the next level of growth.

Ms. Fleur also serves on the Board of Directors for Reaching Higher, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides self-esteem curriculum programs to youth at risk. She takes an active role in the organization where she helps with the organization’s growth strategies. She has a BBA in Marketing from Western Michigan University and Post-Graduate Studies at Wayne State University.

Erik Barber
Policy Research Associate

Erik Barber, Policy Research Associate, performs policy research in support of NSI clients. Before joining NSI, he worked with the University of Chicago’s Center for Population Economics for four years as a Research Assistant, Project Supervisor, and Archives Research Supervisor. Mr. Barber has extensive experience with research in military history and battlefield medicine, aging and morbidity, and public health, as well as managing research assistants and other administrative support services. Mr. Barber has a B.A. degree in Political Science and Public Policy from The George Washington University.

Christina Carter
Associate

Christina Carter, Associate, works with the Research and Business Development divisions at NSI. Ms. Carter conducts the business development research as well as research for NSI client projects, and assists with all marketing initiatives. Ms. Carter began her time at NSI as a Research Assistant where she assisted the department with a variety of projects. Ms. Carter received her B.A., cum laude, in European History and Spanish from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 2006. Ms. Carter's focus was on Twentieth Century diplomacy and U.S. Foreign Policy, and the Second World War; and a portion of her studies was conducted in Málaga, Spain.

Oyinade Ogunbekun
Associate, Client Services

Oyinade Ogunbekun, Client Services Associate, works with clients and local consultants in developing strategy, and assists with project management. Ms. Ogunbekun began her time at NSI as a Research Assistant where she supported the department on a variety of projects. Previously, she served as a Research Assistant in the Mount Holyoke College Department of Economics. She also served as the Department’s Liaison and was very active in mentoring Economics majors, facilitating collaboration between faculty and students, and organizing informative events. Ms. Ogunbekun received her B.A., in Economics and Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College.

Lisa Ard
Partner, NSI Florida Office

Lisa Ard is a Partner in the NSI Florida Office. Her responsibilities include direction of the Florida procurement practice. She has extensive experience in business development, government relations, and state and local government. She has represented numerous companies assisting them in developing and implementing strategic business plans for selling to government. Previously, Ms. Ard served as the Florida Manager of Strategic Initiatives for Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), the largest provider of business process and information technology outsourcing solutions to state and local governments throughout the United States.

Prior to joining ACS, Ms. Ard served in a number of political and public policy roles in both local and state government between 1992 and 2001. She held several positions within Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s administration. Lisa was appointed as Legislative Liaison between the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the Legislature. In this role, she was responsible for advocating for passage of both the Governor’s public policy and appropriations agenda for the agency. Lisa was also appointed as the Governmental Affairs Coordinator for Governor Bush’s statewide urban policy initiative, Front Porch Florida. At the time of her service, the office reported directly to the Executive Office of the Governor.

Ms. Ard also served as a public policy analyst for the Florida House of Representatives. During her tenure with the Florida Legislature, Lisa analyzed over 100 pieces of filed legislation and the hallmark of her career was facilitating the passage of the Uniform Building Code Bill. This groundbreaking legislation created the current Florida Building Commission and standardized over 400 disparate building codes in the State of Florida. Finally, as a Senior Aide to an Orange County, Florida Commissioner, Lisa worked closely with all Orange County departments and was a frequent evaluator of large procurement projects on behalf of the Commissioner. Lisa holds a Masters Degree and a Bachelors Degree, both in Public Administration, from the University of Central Florida.

Claudia Diaz de la Portilla
Partner, Florida Office

Claudia Diaz de la Portilla, Partner of NSI, Florida, is responsible for Business Development and Government Relations in the state of Florida. She has extensive experience in government and private sectors. Most recently, Claudia was on the national business development team for Accenture, a global information technology firm, where she led sales campaigns for large, complex integrated systems opportunities. She was also responsible for government relations in Florida as well as many other states. Previously, she was Regional Vice President for Legislative Affairs for AT&T where she successfully led legislative and regulatory reform campaigns before the merger with BellSouth.

In addition to her corporate experience, Claudia worked in government on both the state and federal levels. She served as U.S. Senator Strom Thurmond’s Legislative Aide in Washington, D.C. for 3 years providing legislative analysis, constituent service and external communications. As a Policy Advisor to the Michigan House of Representatives, she led the staff effort to rewrite the Michigan Telecommunications Act. And as General Counsel and Communications Director for the South Carolina Department of Commerce, she negotiated economic development incentives with corporations wanting to do business with the state. A South Carolina native, Claudia earned her BA and Law degree from the University of South Carolina.

Tamzen Baker
Associate

Tamzen Baker comes to On-Point with experience in customer relations and non-profit management. Previously she held a position as the development and finance manager for a faith based non-profit organization in Tallahassee. In that role, she was responsible for fund-raising and relationship development as well as direct oversight of a budget of over three hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year. She now sits on the organization's Board of Directors. Ms. Baker's development experience makes her a valuable resource for clients as she conducts in depth research for them regarding their markets and competition, agency budgets and contracts. Tamzen received her bachelor's degree from Florida State University with a double major in Political Science and Economics and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Policy with a focus on policy development and government efficiency.

Frank Carnevale

Frank Carnevale is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgepoint Group Ltd., a strategic partner to NSI, where he spearheads strategic growth and sets strategic direction for Canadian public sector business development and oversees the firm’s Energy industry vertical. Prior to establishing Bridgepoint Group in 1998, Frank gained an extensive appreciation of the Canadian political system. He developed a keen understanding of municipal operations through his tenure as Executive Assistant to a City of Toronto Councilor. There he also developed the legislative expertise to understand key motivators of decision makers across the broader public sector.

Mr. Carnevale has held positions on the national and provincial executives of the Liberal Party of Canada, the Young Liberals of Canada, and the Ontario Liberal Party. He has also assisted and managed campaigns across all levels of government within Canada. Mr. Carnevale serves clients in the corporate, retail, government and not-for-profit sectors within Canada and internationally, including the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. He has experience managing public sector opportunities across Canada for Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Carnevale is the Chair of the Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) Committee of the Ontario Energy Association, and an active member of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators. Mr. Carnevale graduated from York University with a BA degree in Political Science.

Anthony Ferrari
President, Bridgepoint Group, Ltd.

Anthony Ferrari is the President of Bridgepoint Group Ltd., a strategic partner to NSI, headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Ferrari manages the firm's Infrastructure industry vertical, Private-Public Partnerships (PPP) and Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) initiatives. Prior to Bridgepoint Group, Mr. Ferrari held positions at a number of investment firms, including Burgundy Asset Management Ltd., where Mr.Ferrari was an equity partner and worked in business development, investment research and strategic planning. Mr. Ferrari worked as a Legislative Assistant to the Hon. Sergio Marchi on Parliament Hill, while Mr. Marchi served as Chairman of the Canadian National Liberal Caucus. He subsequently joined Minister Marchi's Office as Special Assistant when Mr. Marchi was called to Cabinet. In Ottawa, he worked as an Intern in the Office of the Rt. Hon. Jean Chretien. At the international level, Mr. Ferrari worked as a Communications Consultant to the G-8 Summit of World Leaders. In addition, he served as a Congressional Aide on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., as well as a Parliamentary Assistant in the House of Commons in London (UK). Mr. Ferrari has also been a Business Instructor at the Ivey School of Business, where he taught Strategy and Operations. He has also worked as a Strategic Analyst at Bell Canada Enterprises (BCE), where he was involved in competitive intelligence, market research, branding, and advertising.

Mr. Ferrari has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, MSc from the London School of Economics (LSE) and MPA from Queen's University. He has also earned a BA degree from the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University. During his undergraduate studies, he also attended Harvard University and Georgetown University. Mr. Ferrari is currently a Director of the Canadian Institute of International Affairs (CIIA), where he sits on the Board's Governance, Audit and Investment committees. He is also a member of the National Club, the Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC) and the Patrons' Circle of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), as well as the Patron's Circle of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM).
